Despite the inconsistent weather, two members (plus myself) decided to showcase our cars in the Show 'n Shine on the Sunday; Ron with his Chateau Mauve XU-1 and Pete with his VL Group A Commodore.

A great line-up of cars for both days, especially on the Sunday for the Show 'n Shine. The racing, especially the Group N Historic Touring Cars, was just like stepping back in time. Judging by the number of enthusiasts who brought out their pride and joy, the crazy weather obviously didn’t matter!

The highlight of the day (for me, anyway) was seeing Jim Richards eating hot chips liberally covered in tomato sauce, in the trackside café alongside all us ordinary folk!!!

Last, but certainly not least, congratulations to Ron for getting the trophy for 'Best Torana'.
